Preventive Dentistry — We want to help you achieve a strong, healthy smile that will last a lifetime. Decay and disease can spread rapidly and cause painful damage that can be costly to repair. However, regular checkups that include thorough cleanings and screenings for decay, periodontal disease, bite problems, and oral cancer will allow us to find areas of concern in the earliest stages. We encourage you to visit us at least twice a year for a checkup. Schedule your child’s first visit at age two so that we can assess for decay and proper development. We can provide dental sealants and fluoride treatments to ward off tooth decay for children as young as 4 and 5 years old.
